Dr. Marie Therese Jochico
Over three decades of my personal and professional life were spent in La Salle -Bacolod --- with my children privileged to have a Lasallian education in the same workplace where I grew as an educator and mentor, and as a member of a decision - making Leadership and governance team.
It is Him I serve, I am La Salle.
Over three decades of my personal and professional life were spent in La Salle -Bacolod --- with my children privileged to have a Lasallian education in the same workplace where I grew as an educator and mentor, and as a member of a decision - making Leadership and governance team.

Serving in the Lasallian Partners Council (2006 - 2015) for nine of these life - changing years infused me with a deeper understanding and appreciation of the Lasallian charism and  Animo legacy.   I saw our Lasallian Mission at work, at close range and  from a partner's vantage point. I met and learned from many Brothers and Partners who lived out the Mission as best they can.

When I retired as Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs in 2015,  I brought with me the mission of Teaching Minds,  Touching Hearts and Transforming Lives.   It was time to pay it forward.   My principles of leadership were influenced by the Mission - focused,  Participative, and Enabling work environment imbibed from my years at USLS - Bacolod.

Grateful for my Lasallian tradition,   I work today  in a different Vineyard,  as educational consultant for Administration and Governance,  as facilitator of Strategic Planning Workshops of Corporate and NGO- organizations,  or as Leadership Training resource person.   And in all these,  I have experienced the Lord's constant guidance and reminder that, as St. La Salle taught me,  it is HIM I serve and I go  wherever He leads me.
